I never set out to be a writer or a photographer, though both have been interests since childhood. By profession, I am a (now retired) clinical engineer – someone who oversees the application of medical technology in hospitals (NYC in this case). I was born in New York City, in Doctor’s Hospital on the upper East side, now a luxury condominium. Childhood spent in the extreme south east corner of Yonkers in a house my grandfather built in the 1930s.

It failed miserably: lack of money, and knowledge regarding what we were getting into.
