Alan Pakaln spends his time working on: risk management, public library and nonprofit networking, a combination of these two. On the side, I run a small community-oriented gallery (FranklinArts.org) in Croton-on-Hudson, where I live.
Born in Manhattan, Doctor’s Hospital on the upper East Side (now a luxury condominium), childhood spent in the Southeast corner of Yonkers in a house my immigrant from Latvia grandfather built c. 1930.
Alan is retired from clinical engineering – someone who oversees the application of medical technology in hospitals (NYC in this case).
